- Actually, I'm glad to find out that I'm not the only one to
- have such a bad experience with Copperhead.
-
- My Story.
-
- In November of 1995, I called them, looking for the MicroWay
- Flicker-fixler that they had advertized in one of the magazine.
- They told me that they had quite a few, and that I could send
- them a check in the mail for it (I don't like credit cards.)
-
- So, I send them a check, expecting it to take about a month to
- get back to me. After a month, I call them and ask if they've
- even gottem my order.
-
- They tell me that they have, and that it is going out that day.
- I wait two weeks (don't have much faith in mail delivery), and
- I call them back, again, just trying to confirm that they GOT
- my order, and that it was sent.
-
- The friendly voice at the end of the line walked away for a mew
- minutes, then told me that I should call back at about
- 5:00PM-the person who could answer my question would be there.
-
- So I waited until 5:00pm (of course Eastern time, I didn't wait
- until 5:00pm locally-this was not my mistake). I went through
- their voice-mail system to customer support, where a recording
- told me that customer service did not respond to phone calls
- after 3:00pm.
-
- After two days of phone tag, I finaly canceled my check, and
- canceled the order.
-
- When this happened, I was tempted to make this post, but I
- didn't want to start bashing a firm for difficulties that no
- one else had experienced.
-
- I'm sorry to see that I'm not the only one. It's sad, too,
- because I think the Amiga community could use a trustworthy
- dealer in used Amiga hardware.
-
- Thank you for your time
